Introducing: The Neat Obsessions Book

Dear You,

Hello! How have you been? I hope that you are well and good. Safe from any harm and always strong in facing all the challenges that a lot of us are having right now. I want to share with you one thing that has been very close to my heart for the past few months. Many of you know that I have been a private person most of my life, then I found my passion. It started from being a mom, to becoming “obsessed” with being neat and orderly at home, to finally sharing special moments with people that I discover along this journey. The journey apparently is not to be the best organizer in this planet, this journey is about happiness. I want to share with you my first book –

Neat Obsessions: Starting Your Journey to Organizing, Productivity, and Happiness

Writing this book is really about happiness, its about what I felt when I first touched this book in real life. I immediately ran to my bathroom and cried my heart’s out. All the tears of joy turned into a mix of different feelings. Of anxiety, knowing that I am sharing and opening my life to everyone in the world. Sharing my thoughts in print, which will practically be forever a part of a person’s home, is somewhat overwhelming. Of fear, that some people might judge me. But I know that anything that is created out of love, much like a child to a mom, is always precious and forgiving. Of a feeling of accomplishment, knowing that I worked hard on this together with the loving people that supported me in bringing these words to life. Of excitement, because I think this is a start of new opportunities, not just for me, but for the readers who might find it useful for their own unique stories. And finally, of happiness, just simple joy that my passion is now composed of not just 180 characters, not just of a short comment or post, or a blog entry like this one. Its a book! An actual book which contains my complete and extensive thoughts about organizing and happiness. Believe me, this is just a short read, not like a novel. But honestly, I believe that these collections of photos and words are not just there to inspire, but for people to realize that happiness always starts with gratitude and acceptance that finds its way through a continuous and life long learning.

This is just a start, and I know I need to improve on a lot. But I gave a lot of my self in order to make this book as meaningful and helpful to everyone who reads this. Hopefully there’s another book in the future, years from now, where I can further explore the many stories of the people that I have encountered. But for now, I hope you enjoy the simple and guiding concepts to help you start with your own journey in organizing the many things in and around you, in being productive with a purpose to become more to many without exhausting or losing yourself, and in happiness… always a journey to happiness, whatever it means to you.

I guess I don’t need to say a lot more in this blog but I just have one request… To those who have bought and read the book, please keep it close to your hearts as this is a big part of who I am. Please take care of me, please?

From the bottom of my heart, my deepest gratitude to everyone supporting this book! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

To the team behind this book! Thank you and always know that you are all like family to me. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

To my family, you are my inspiration, and my true source of happiness, of which I have nothing to share if not for the overflowing love that you are giving me each and every day. Thank you! I love you!

And God, thank you! Lately, we often end our family evening prayers with a song “God is good to me, God is good to you, God is good to us…” Thank You God, for all the blessings, thank You for all the love!

To everyone… thanks again, and always stay neat!

Yours always,

Issa
